Heavy foot traffic, regular mowing, and weather events will lead to compacted soil. When the soil is too compact, water, nutrients, and air are not able to travel through the soil to help the grass roots grow deep. Annual or biannual aeration can loosen your soil, allowing the water and nutrients the grass roots need to penetrate deep.
After we aerate your lawn, we will lay a thin layer of seed over your lawn to fill in bare spots and encourage new growth.
Top dressing applies an even layer of compost on top of your lawn to encourage healthy growth, thicken your turf, and strengthen the soil in your lawn. If your lawn is struggling with uneven growth, heat stress, or inadequate nutrients, top dressing may be the right service for you.
